The Millenium Stadium

Today we visited The Millenium Stadium in Cardiff as part of our topic 'Wonderful Wales.' We had a very informative tour of the stadium. We went into the 'Press Room' which was named after Ray Gravell, the 'Changing Rooms' for both the home team and the away team/Wales football team and then walked through the tunnel the players run out from whilst listening to the music playing as if it were a match day.  We sat in seats on the top tier to see just how big the pitch was (we thought it was small when we stood by it but it's huge when seen from higher up). The tour guide took us to the 'free' seats but we can only sit there if we are invited!  The Royal family have sat on the seats we were sitting in, they are very comfortable. The hospitality rooms were very nice and there was an excellent view of the pitch. We asked lots of questions and have learned a lot about the Millenium Stadium. Take a look at some of our photos below.

Mrs Davies's assistant photographer for the day was Megan.
